Abstract:
To provide a light brake disc capable of preventing the occurrence of warp deformation due to braking by clarifying yield strength of an Al brake disc for suppressing warp deformation.
This brake disc is constituted by an Al base composite material produced by dispersing ceramic particles having average particle diameter of 1 to 20 μm of 5 to 30 volume % in Al alloy containing Fe of 0.5 to 5.0 %, Si of 0.2 to 3.0 %, Cu of 0.5 to 3.0 %, Mg of 0.5 to 2.0 %, and Cr of 0.5 to 3.0 %.
