Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the noise and the deterioration of working oil due to the frictional heat generated during regeneration, by correcting the pump capacity reference value st according to the operation degree of a brake pedal, to the smaller value, as the car speed is higher and the accumulated pressure value of an accumulator is higher.
CONSTITUTION: A brake energy regenerating device mounted on a vehicle such as a city bus is equipped with a hydraulic pump/motor 40 connected with the driving system member of the vehicle through a clutch, and is pump-operated in brake application, and accumulates the brake energy in an accumulator 20, while on start/acceleration, the motor is operated, and the accumulated hydraulic energy is utilized as the start/acceleration energy. In this case, a car speed sensor, accumulated pressure sensor 88, and a brake pressure sensor are provided. The pump capacity standard value of the hydraulic pump/motor 40 is set according to the operation degree of a brake pedal, and the pump capality standard value is corrected to the smaller value, as the car speed is higher and the accumulated pressure value is higher.
