To effectively execute traction control, directional stability control, and antilock brake control using simplified constitution in an FF vehicle.
This device performs traction control using either of right and left front-wheel brake pressure application means 14A, 14B which corresponds to a front wheel that tends to slip excessively while a brake is not in operation; directional stability control comprising the control of over- steering by either of right and left front-wheel brake pressure regulation means 13A, 13B and either of the right and left front wheel brake pressure application means 14A, 14B, both of which correspond to the front outer turning wheel and the control of under-steering by either of the right and left front wheel brake pressure regulation means 13A, 13B and either of the right and left front wheel brake pressure application means 14A, 14B, both of which correspond to the front inner turning wheel; and antilock brake control by either of the right and left front wheel brake pressure regulation means 13A, 13B and either of right and left rear-wheel brake pressure regulation means 10A, 10B, both of which correspond to the wheel that may come to a wheel lock during brake operation.
