To provide a controller facilitating drilling work, caulking and fixing work, and assembling work for respective valve retaining holes in a pressure control mechanism which is unitized for a housing.
This controller is provided with the pressure control mechanism 10 which permits both of the flows of brake fluid for a master cylinder and a wheel cylinder when a plunger pump 8 is not operated, and assists the brake fluid pressure to the wheel cylinder by cutting off the flow of the brake fluid from the master cylinder to the wheel cylinder when the plunger pump is operated. The pressure control mechanism is retained at the same housing 13 as the fluid pressure control mechanism to be unitized. The respective valve retaining holes 24 in the pressure control valves are set in the same direction of plunger holes 22 in respective plungers 19 and the inner diameters are set to be almost the same. Respective opening edges 22a, 24a of respective plugs 23, 25 which close each of the respective end openings are fixed by caulking.
