Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct a wheel cylinder pressure of each wheel so as to obtain proper deceleration, relating to a brake force control device generating large brake force as compared with at ordinary time in the case of performing emergency brake operation.
SOLUTION: In the case of performing emergency brake operation by a driver, relating to a wheel cylinder 120, 122, 124, 126, a brake fluid pressure larger as compared with a master cylinder pressure PM/C by a prescribed assist pressure Pa is supplied. Based on a brake fluid pressure supplied to the wheel cylinder 120, 122, 124, 126, deceleration (target deceleration) G* is calculated. A deceleration sensor 146 detecting actual deceleration G is provided. Based on G-G*, the brake fluid pressure is corrected so as to obtain a value of the actual deceleration G in the vicinity of the target deceleration G*.
