To adequately control a control hydraulic pressure of a wheel brake by arranging mutually independent control valve means between a plurality of master cylinders and the wheel brake and increasing control accuracy of brake hydraulic pressure, in a brake hydraulic pressure control device for a vehicle in which the single wheel brake is connected to a plurality of master cylinders for outputting hydraulic pressure every brake operation member as a vehicle driver operates the plurality of independently operable brake operation members.

Control valve means VC and VB capable of mutually independently controlling the brake hydraulic pressure acting on the wheel brake BF are provided between respective master cylinders 2A and 2B and the wheel brake BF, and hydraulic control characteristics by respective control valve means VC and VB are set differently in response to liquid loss in hydraulic systems between these control valve means VC and VB and the wheel brake BF.
