To provide a brake liquid pressure control device which enables both gradually intensified braking such that pulse pressure is held down without pump rotating speed control or in a small rotating speed control range and high-response suddenly intensified braking without a pre-charge pump at the time of brake liquid pressure control not accompanied by brake operation.
In addition to a brake liquid pressure control actuator 5, there are provided a first communicating passage 20 for communicating a pump discharge side oil passage 36 of a secondary system with a sub-communicating passage 19 of a primary system, a normally closed first communicating path switching valve 14 disposed in the midway of the first communicating passage 20, a second communicating passage 21 for communicating a pump discharge oil passage 37 of the primary system with the sub-communicating 19, and a normally closed second communicating passage switching valve 15 disposed in the midway of the second communicating passage 21, and the discharge phases of the ABS pumps 34, 35 are shifted from each other by about 180 degrees.
