Abstract:
To provide a brake mechanism which has a simple and compact structure, has high durability and a good brake function, and may change a brake force arbitrarily.SOLUTION: A brake mechanism B includes: a base part K attached to a leg part 3 pivotally supporting a wheel 1; a brake plate 8 attached to the wheel 1; at least one brake piece 4 which is disposed contacting with the brake plate 8 and generates frictional force between itself and the brake plate 8; a displacement member 7 which is provided at the base part K and causes a position of the brake piece 4 relative to the brake plate 8 to move close to or away from an axle 5 within a plane perpendicular to the axle 5; and an operation member 6 which operates the displacement member 7.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
