Abstract:
To provide a brake module for making brake force more constant solving the problem that in a well-known brake module, brake force fluctuates significantly over a service life on one hand, and according to the temperature on the other hand so that the brake force of a brake module is not clearly defined, and periodical selections need to be made to obtain the brake force higher than desired brake force so as to ensure the functionality of the brake module.SOLUTION: The purpose of the present invention is achieved by forming at least one friction surface from a friction layer (20) consisting of a fiber and/or a carbon for protecting a brake disc (5) and/or a thrust washer (6) against wear. In consequence, brake force of a brake module over a service life of the brake module is kept more constant, and the temperature dependence is decreased.
