The caliper 30 includes, in claw portions 44a, 44b, a plurality of through holes 48a, 48b having a circumferential direction length of a rotor 100 equal to a radial direction length of the rotor 100 or a plurality of through holes 48a, 48b having the circumferential direction length of the rotor 100 longer than the radial direction length of the rotor 100. There are provided a plurality of protruding portions 88a, 88b which are loosely fitted to the through holes 48a, 48b, respectively, and each of the protruding portions 88a, 88b has a long axis and a short axis in its front projection shape and is characterized in that the long axis is along the radial direction of the rotor 100 and that the short axis is along the circumferential direction of the rotor 100.
