Abstract:
To provide a brake shoe for railway capable of fixing a bracing part to a base plate while preventing distortion from being generated by heat or heavy load.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a brake shoe 17 for railway comprising: a base plate 19 in which a lining 39 is molded on a surface opposite to a wheel 15; an attachment part 21 joined to an opposite side face 43 of a lining molded surface 41 in the base plate 19; and a bracing part 23 loosely fitted into a groove of a brake shoe head 11 and attached to the base plate 19 for suppressing oscillation in a width direction across a braking force application direction Y in the base plate 19. The bracing part 23 includes: an engage projection 25 which is inserted from the side of the lining molded surface 41 into a through-hole provided in the base plate 19 and of whose tip end protrudes from the opposite side face 43; and a stationary base part which is inserted/positioned while being abutted to the lining molded surface 41, and is caulked to an inner wall surface of the through-hole.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
