Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the brake of a ski which allows a ski board to be quickly fitted when it is removed in an overturn during a descent, can prevent a slip when a brake is applied, is easy to operate, serves to improve the skill of a beginner, allows a player to safely enjoy skiing, and is compact and lightweight.
CONSTITUTION: The brake of a ski is constituted of a brake claw 4 protrudably buried in a ski board 1, a mechanism 14 controlling the protrusion of the brake claw 4, and a brake lever 12 fitted to a stock 2 to operate the control mechanism 14. The speed can be surely and easily adjusted when merely the brake lever 12 is operated, and the skiing skill can be safely learned.
