Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a brake for ski of which the working degrees can be adjusted in response to the progress of a skill or the condition of a snow surface, for a ski for children or beginners.

CONSTITUTION: A brake (a) for ski is constituted in such a manner that the resistant surface 8 of a resistant claw 5 which protrudes from the bottom surface of a ski board 1 is direction-variably positioned on the bottom surface with a rotating shaft 10 as the pivot. For another brake (a) for ski, the rotating shaft 10 goes through the upper surface of the ski board 1, and at the upper end of the rotating shaft 10, a direction-changing lever 14 is fastened. In addition, for another brake (a) for ski, a pair of the resistant claws 5 are arranged to confront with each other.
