Title:
BRAKE SYSTEM FOR ELEVATOR HOIST
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3614221
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of part items and to realize a small size of the whole body, by providing an electro-magnet to separate brake shoes from a brake disk by rotating a pair of arms, and loading a field to one side arm, while loading an armature to the other side arm.
SOLUTION: To arms 21A and 21B installed rotatable to a housing 22 respectively, brake shoes 24 to connect and disconnect to a brake disk 3 by rotating the arms 21A and 21B are installed. And the arms 21A and 21B are energized in the direction the brake shoes 24 are contacted to the brake disk 3 by springs 25. The ring form field 27 of an electro-magnet 26 is fixed to the opposite side of the brake shoes 24 to the arm pin 23 of one side arm 21A. The armature 29 of the electro-magnet 26 to connect and disconnect to the field 27 is installed to the other side arm 21B through a pivot pin 30. And to the arm 21B, an adjusting bolt 32 as an adjustment mechanism whose front end is abutted to the armature 29 is threadably attached.
