Abstract:
To provide a practical brake system for a connected vehicle in which a plurality of vehicles is connected in one row.SOLUTION: A brake system for a connected vehicle includes: a plurality of brake devices 24 which is provided in each of a plurality of vehicles 10; and controllers 28 and 26 which control the brake devices. The brake system is configured to control brake force applied to each of the plurality of vehicles on the basis of a loading amount or weight of each of the plurality of vehicles. The brake system is configured to execute at least one of (A) deceleration adjustment control so that deceleration of a vehicle on a rear side is not lower than deceleration of a vehicle on a front side and (B) brake force generation start time adjustment control so that generation of brake force of the vehicle on the front side is not earlier than generation of brake force of the vehicle on the rear side, so as to prevent a jackknife phenomenon of the connected vehicle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
