Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce installation space of each mechanism in the proximity of the stop position of truck and to position the truck positively at the stop position.
CONSTITUTION: A truck 40 travels while being exerted thrust from a linear motor. A positioning mechanism 50 is installed on the under side of a brake mechanism 20 applying brake force onto the truck 40. A positioning pin 52 of the positioning mechanism 50 is inserted into a through-hole 23 made through an electromagnet yoke 22 in the brake mechanism 20 so that it can be fit in an opening 47 made through the truck 40. The truck 40 stops through the brake mechanism 20 and the truck 40 is positioned when the positioning pin 52 is fit in the opening 47.
