Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake unit capable of appropriately adjusting the slide resistance of a movable body with a compact structure, and capable of being operated without affecting the positional precision of the moving body, in the brake unit of a linearly guiding device in which the movable body is movably supported by a linear bearing arranged on a fixed part.
SOLUTION: A pair of elastic bag bodies 30 fixed on a unit main body 1 are so arranged as to face both side surfaces of a brake rail 2, damping plates 4 fixed on the unit main body 1 are inserted between the elastic bag bodies 30 and the brake rail 2, the damping plates 4 are pressed to the side surfaces of the brake rail 2 by expanding the elastic bag bodies 30, and the slide resistance is made act between the unit main body 1 and the brake rail 2.
