Abstract:
PURPOSE:To stop smoothly by incorporating a pair of relief valves having low setting pressure in a counter balance spool 5 of brake valve 4 then controlling the outlet path areas of relief valves 8, 8' through stroke position of spool. CONSTITUTION:A pair of relief valves 8, 8' having low setting pressure are incorporated in a counter-balancing spool 5 of brake valve 4, to control the outlet path area of said valves 8, 8' through stroke position of spool 5 thus to control the return speed of spool 5 toward neutral position such that it is high at initial stage while decreases as nearing to the neutral position. Consequently, when starting a liquid pressure actuator, the relief valves 8, 8' contained in spool are not required to be functioned where the system pressure is determined by the setting pressure of main relief valve 30, while when stopping said actuator 3, it can be stopped smoothly without causing cavitation.
