Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To offer the braking arrangement of a wheelchair in which a physically handicapped person can safely sit down.
SOLUTION: The the braking arrangement of the wheelchair comprises brakes in a one character shape which connects to a bar-shaped brake lever to stop a rear wheel, a Y-shaped fitting part to which the brakes are applied automatically in the central part of the brake lever, a wire for governing the brake lever, and a flexible band which connects to the wire and lengthens the wire by elasticity of a seating sheet.
