Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To utilize a braking device for safety against wind in the movement of a heavy weight or as a free vibration generator of a base isolation device by stretching a PC strand on down-grade, mounting the braking device on one side of a carriage and to mount a transfer device to the other side.
SOLUTION: In the movement of a heavy weight 11 on a down-hill road 10, a PC strand 13 is stretched with above the moving load and the braking load while taking reaction force fulcrums on an upper support 60 and a lower support 61 at both ends of the PC strand, to remove an extensional margin and a loosening margin (play) of the PC strand 13. To pull down the heavy weight 11 on the down-grade, the constant braking pressure Vb is applied to a jack for a grip of a braking device 9 for the heavy weight, the operational pressure Vo large than Vb is applied to a transfer device 12, and a first jack 31a and a second jack 31b are alternately expanded and contacted while alternately holding and releasing chucks 26a, 25b by a conventional method.
