Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain differenct brake actions notwithstanding the outward rotation and the backward rotation are in the same rotational phase by providing a control arm of a brake lever which is elastically deformable, and locating the control arm in such positions as to be engaged with different cam surfaces of two cam surfaces at least in the partial same rotational phase of outward rotation and backward rotation.
SOLUTION: A reciprocating rotary gear 22 is provided with a first cam surface (upper cam surface) 25 and a second cam surface lower cam surface) 26 which are in two, upper and lower stages in the axial direction and different in shape. A brake lever 31 is formed by an elastically deformable metallic material as a whole, and the forward end of a control arm 32 thereof is provided with a cam follower 35 which is selectively engaged with the first and second cam surfaces 25, 26 by the elastic deformation of the control arm 32. A spring arm 34 is engaged with a pole 36 erected on a main leaf 21, whereby the cam follower 35 of the brake lever 31 is energized in rotation in the direction of engaging the cam surfaces 25, 26. When the brake lever 31 is oscillated according to the shapes of the cam surfaces 25, 26, the brake arm 33 is made close to and separate from the brake drum 24.
