Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce cost and weight to a great extent, and enhance brake operation feeling when an actuator is out of operation by letting the braking forces of paired wheel brakes be changed by a single actuator.
SOLUTION: The first epicyclic carrier 191 of a first epicyclic gear mechanism 61 equipped with a first ring gear 161 connected to the intermediate part of a first transmission system, and with a first sun gear 171 capable of being controlled by a sun gear braking means 7, is fixed to the one end of a rotating shaft 14, the second epicyclic carrier 192 of a second epicyclic gear mechanism 62 equipped with a second ring gear 162 connected to the intermediate part of a second transmission system, is fixed to the other end of the rotating shaft 14, and a motor 8 which can be freely rotated normally and reversely, is connected to the second sun gear 172, of the second epicyclic gear mechanism 62.
