Abstract:
To provide a braking device capable of enhancing the stability of the braking force.
In the braking device, a driven gear 3 and a braking gear 5 to be engaged with an internal gear 1 and rotated thereby are provided on the inner side of the internal gear 1. The braking gear 5 is displaceable by a predetermined stroke in the axial direction by the driving force of an actuator 7. In other words, the braking gear 5 is displaceable between the braking position to be engaged with the driven gear 3 and the releasing position with the driven gear 3 disengaged therefrom. The braking gear 5 is displaced between the braking position and the releasing position while being engaged with the internal gear 1.
