Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve responsiveness to side skidding preventive control and eliminate the trouble caused by the surplus braking liquid sucked from a master reservoir in side skidding preventive control.
SOLUTION: In a braking device which is provided with a side skidding preventive device, which is provided with wheel cylinders 4 for generating braking force for each wheel from a master cylinder 2 through a pipe passage A and a master reservoir 3 for storing braking liquid, for making wheels to be controlled generate by supplying braking liquid to the wheel cylinders 4 corresponding to wheels to be controlled from the master cylinder 2 during side skidding preventive control, a pipe passage D2 for supplying braking liquid to the wheel cylinders 4 from the master cylinder 3 and a second control valve 15 for front wheels, which switches this pipe passage D2 to be communicated and cut-off. When a side skidding state is detected while braking is being applied to the vehicle, the first control valve 15 for front wheels is cut-off, prohibiting the supply of braking liquid to the wheel cylinders 4 from the master cylinder 3.
