Abstract:
To provide a braking member having a reduced weight, easily improved in performance against creaking noises and reduced in manufacturing manhours, and to provide a brake rotor using the same.
The brake rotor 1A comprises, at least, friction face layers 20, 30 including at least short carbon fiber materials and two-dimensional carbon fiber materials, provided on at least friction faces 21, 31, and an intermediate layer 10A laminated on the friction face layers 21, 31. The base layer 10A includes a hollow carbon fiber material 11A.
