Title:
BRAN REMOVING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0780332
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent clogging of the bran removing net of the bran removing device constituted to suck away bran and small-sized rice by connecting a suction pipe to a bran and small-sized rice chamber by providing this bran and small-size rice chamber with a spacing for sucking wind in such a manner that the suction by the suction pipe does not act on the inside of the bran and small-sized rice chamber on the bran removing net.

CONSTITUTION: A bran removing chamber 38 is formed in the lower part of a lifting machine 36 and the inclined bran removing net 39 is extended in this bran removing chamber 38 and, therefore, the bran and small-sized rice included in middle-period milled rice are sieved by the bran removing net 39, are separated to a bran and small-sized rice chamber 40 under the bran removing net 39 and are sucked away by a suction pipe 41. The suction by the suction pipe 41 is executed from a spacing 52 between the top end 51 of an inclined bottom wall 50 and the bran removing net 39 and, therefore, the inside of the bran removing chamber 38 is not sucked and the bran removing net 39 merely acts as a sieve without the passage of the wind. The bran removing net 39 is thus less clogged. The bran removing net 39 is, however, clogged gradually when the operation is continuously carried out over a long period of time but the bran removing net 39 is easily cleaned by a brush, etc., even during the operation by opening an opening/closing cap 42 in the upper part of the bran removing chamber 38 in that time.
