To provide a branch and leaf crushing machine capable of simplifying a sound-proof structure and accomplishing space-saving.

A throwing hopper 53 is provided with a communication opening 70 for communicating the throwing hopper 53 and a crushing machine body 5 at a front end and is provided with a branch and leaf throwing opening 75 thrown with branches and leaves at a rear end. The communication opening 70 is partitioned to a first opening 72 and a second opening 71 by a partition member 90 provided inside of the throwing hopper 53. The inside of the throwing hopper 53 is partitioned to a first space 74 provided with the first opening 72 and fed with the branches and leaves and a second space 73 provided with second opening 71 to communicate with the crushing machine body 5. Accordingly, by providing a sound-absorption material 80 in the second space 73, a crushing sound can be absorbed in the throwing hopper 53 and the sound-proof structure can be simplified as compared with the conventional one. A sound-proof apparatus occupying a place is dispensed with and space-saving can be accomplished.
