PURPOSE: To provide a joint which can be easily set in a connecting hole of a main pipe with small inserting force without causing increase in propulsion resistance, and eliminates the possibility of slipping-off from the connecting hole of the main pipe after its setting, and realize connecting structure which is excellent in the water-stopping ability, strength, etc., using this joint.

CONSTITUTION: More than one elastic engaging-locking pieces 2c, 2c which are curved as a whole towards their tips so as to be positioned inside a joint, are formed on a spigot 2a provided on one end part of the joint 1, and burrs 2d, 2d are provided to be projected from the outer face of the tip part of the engaging locking pieces. When the burrs 2d, 2d are engagingly locked on the inner face side of a hole edge part of a connecting hole 3a of a main pipe 3 after a spigot 4a of a mounting pipe 4 is inserted into the joint 1, a rubber packing 5 provided on the outer peripheral surface of the joint-spigot seals the gap between the joint 1 and the main pipe 3.
