Abstract:
To provide an inexpensive branch pipe formation device and a branch pipe formation method improved in disengagement prevention force.SOLUTION: A branch pipe formation device 100 includes: a split housing 100A having a first split member 3 and a second split member 4; and a spigot pipe 6 held by connection opening portions 33, 43 in a locked state at one end, and insertable to a socket pipe portion 21 at the other end. In the spigot pipe 6, a main body pipe portion 61 held by the connection opening portions 33, 43, an annular flange portion 62 vertically extending toward a radial outer side from an outer surface of the main body pipe portion 61, and an extending pipe portion 63 extending along a pipe axial direction Y at a side opposite to the connection opening portions 33, 43 from an inner peripheral side of the flange portion 62, are integrally formed, and the flange portion 62 is provided with a plurality of through holes 62a to which fastening members 23 can be inserted to be fastened to an end portion flange 21a of a socket pipe portion 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
