Title:
BRANCHED POLYAMIDE HAVING UNSATURATED TERMINAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2005320537
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a branched polyamide having an unsaturated terminal, a hot-melt adhesive composed thereof, and a use thereof in the hot-melt adhesive or in an electric cable.

The branched polyamide having unsaturated terminal is comprised of (1) at least one unit obtained from a polyfunctional monomer (A) having two or more functional groups and (2) at least one chain obtained by condensing (a) at least two mutually different lactams, (b) at least one lactam, at least one dicarboxylic acid and at least one diamine, (c) a lactam or an α,ω-aminocarboxylic acid or (d) a diamine and a diacid in the presence of at least one unsaturated monobasic acid, wherein the ratio of (A) in (A) and all of above monomers is taken as 9 wt.% or lower, and the crosslinking can be easily accomplished under heating using hydrogen peroxide as an initiator, under ultra-violet radiation(or by melting under ultra-violet radiation) using a ultraviolet light-sensitive initiator, or under γ-ray or β-ray radiation.
