Abstract:
To provide a dispersing additive which enables the production of a pigment paste having a high concentration and a low viscosity as much as possible.
A cross-linked polymer is obtained from a monomer mixture comprising the following components (A), (B) and (C). (A) 50 to 93 wt.% of at least one ethylenically unsaturated monomer, (B) 2 to 25 wt.% of at least one ethylenically unsaturated macromonomer having a mol.wt. of 1,000 to 20,000, and (C) 5 to 25 wt.% of at least one polymerizable imidazole derivative [provided that the total amount of the components (A), (B) and (C) is 100 wt.%, and the branched polymer has a mol.wt. of 15,000 to 100,000 and may, if necessary form its salt].
