Abstract:
To provide a branching apparatus capable of strongly pressing a seal member.SOLUTION: The branching apparatus includes: a main pipe 10 to which powder and granular materials are supplied together with carrier air; a moving body 20 connected to a tip part 102 of the main pipe 10; a base plate 40 in which a plurality of through-holes 43 arranged along a moving path of the moving body 20 are formed; and a plurality of branch pipes 50 connected to the respective through-holes 43. The moving body 20 includes: a fixed block 22; a seal block 23 disposed between the fixed block 22 and the base plate 40; a seal member 24 provided in the seal block 23; and an advancing and retracting mechanism that advances and retracts the seal block 23 relative to the base plate 40. When the seal member 24 abuts on the base plate, a first air chamber S1 communicating with the internal space of the main pipe 10 is formed between the fixing block 22 and the seal block 23, and the carrier air flowing into the first air chamber S1 energizes the seal block 23 toward the base plate 40.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
