Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger for recirculating exhaust gas of a heat engine which is resistant to corrosion.SOLUTION: The brazable component for the circulation of a fluid in a heat exchanger, in particular for a motor vehicle, includes an aluminum alloy core 4 of a flat tube of the heat exchanger. A pure aluminum protective layer 8 placed in contact with the aluminum alloy core of the flat tube is extended to protect the flat tube. The pure aluminum protective layer acts like a sacrificial protective layer. Therefore, even if the pure aluminum protective layer starts to be corroded, the core of the wall of the flat tube is not damaged.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2a
