PURPOSE: To fully automate a titled device and to improve the working rate thereof by providing a projection length control means which detects the projection length of the brazing filler metal from a guide nozzle and controls the projection length thereof to a brazing filler metal supplying part.

CONSTITUTION: The brazing filler metal supplying part 14 consists of a brazing filler metal guide head, a brazing filler metal supply mechanism 44 and a projec tion length measuring member 45. The brazing filler metal 51 projects from the guide nozzle 50 and faces the prescribed position when a piston rod ad vances. The mechanism 44 is commanded to rotate a roller 53a to the specified amt. and to supply the brazing filler metal 51 of the prescribed length. The projection length measuring member 45 detects, without contact, the position of the top end of the brazing filler metal 51 projected from the guide nozzle 50 prelimininarily moved and positioned to the set position and emits the electric signal corresponding thereto. The signal is inputted to a control part 15 which rotates a reversible motor 53 to puts in and out the brazing filler metal 51, thereby adjusting the projection length thereof to the initial projection length.
