Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a brazing sheet made of an aluminum alloy high in the wettability of a brazing filler metal and excellent in vacuum brazability.
SOLUTION: In this brazing sheet made of an aluminum alloy, at least either surface of a core material consisting of aluminum or an aluminum allay is clad with a brazing filler metal composed of an aluminum alloy. Then, at least either brazing filler metal has a composition containing, by mass, 7 to 15% Si and 0.5 to 2% Mg, and the balance aluminum with inevitable impurities, and further, the cladding is performed in such a manner that the content of Mg per unit face of the brazing filler metal is controlled to 1 to 3 g/m2.
