Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent brake response from lowering in a motor vehicle in which any one of hydraulic brake or regenerative brake is selected based on the operation of brake pedal.
CONSTITUTION: When a switch 242 mounted on a brake pedal 8 is turned ON and brake start is detected, hydraulic brake on front and rear wheels Wf, Wr and regenerative brake on the rear wheel Wr coupled with a motor 2 function temporarily in combination for a predetermined quite short time after start of brake. According to the constitution, brake force can rise quickly with no response lag regardless of the hydraulic brake or the regenerative brake being selected finally upon elapse of the predetermined time.
