A control part of this device is provided with a modeling part 210 for modeling an object comprising the sheet material, an edge detecting part 211 for detecting an edge of each element constituting an edge portion of a CAE model, a curvature computing part 212 for computing an average value of radii detected in the every edge to find a curvature in an edge side of the each element, and a primary evaluation part 213 for determining the possibility of the breakage in the edge portion of the sheet material, based on the curvature in the edge side of the each element, and based on a breakage critical strain.
