Abstract:
PURPOSE:To simultaneously act a bending moment and tensile strength and to eliminate burr by forming a plurality of amorphous Si solar batteries on one surface of a glass substrate, disposing the other surface of the substrate between the batteries when dividing them individually digging a scribing line, and passing the substrate in a dividing unit which has a stepwise difference between a substrate dividing fulcrum roller and a substrate tensile feed roller. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of amorphous Si solar batteries 2 are formed on one surface of a glass substrate 1, and a scribing line 3 is formed at the position between the batteries 2 on the other surface. Then, the substrate 1 is placed on a conveyor roller 10 with the line 3 side upside, a pair of substrate feed rollers 11, 12 are arranged at the end 17 side of moving direction, and a substrate divid- ing fulcrum roller 13 is arranged near the roller 11. Further, a substrate tensile feed roller 14 and a conveyor 16 are provided at the downstream of the roller 13, the substrate 1 is divided by the outer periphery 18 of the substrate press roller 15 opposed to the roller 14 during moving of the substrate. At this time a stepwise difference (t) is provided between the rollers 13 and 14.
