The breaking device includes: a striking body comprising a heavy object; guide means which is a vertically extending long-length body and holds the striking body so as to move vertically; a breaking body which comprises a rod body with a chisel formed on the lower end side and is held so as to be slid in the vertical direction at a position where the striking body falls on the lower end side of the guide member; a moving body vertically moved by driving means on the upper side of the striking body; a first attraction part comprising a magnet or iron provided on a position to be in contact with the striking body of the moving body; a second attraction part comprising a magnet or iron provided on a position to be in contact with the moving body of the striking body to be attracted to the first attraction part; and regulation means fixed to the upper side of the guide member for regulating the movement of the striking body to the upper part of the guide member.
