Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a breakwater which can flexibly adapt to a shape of installation land, which can be installed even in a narrow space, and which has high tsunami prevention capacity.SOLUTION: A pair of continuous walls 11 is arranged alongshore. Each of the continuous walls 11 is formed by laterally arranging concrete piles 21 having lower parts driven into ground. Each of the continuous walls 11 is provided in such a manner that a mutual interval is equal in dimension to/greater in dimension than the height of the concrete pile 21 from an installation surface. A filler 12 for a dam body is infilled between the respective continuous walls 11. The filler 12 for the dam body can also contain a radioactive substance and zeolite.
