Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable the volume of a breather chamber to be enlarged by disposing the breather chamber formed separately from a transmission chamber on the upper portion thereof to afford communication between breather chamber and the outside of transmission chamber through a pipe. CONSTITUTION:A breather chamber 23 formed separately from a transmission chamber 21 is disposed on the upper portion thereof, and pipes 27, 28 provided in the breather chamber 23 extend through transmission cases 24, 25 to afford communication between the breather chamber 23 and the outside of transmission chamber 21. Thus, compared with conventional breather chamber formed integrally with the transmission chamber the volume of the breather chamber 23 can be enlarged and further the total weight including the transmission case can be reduced.
