Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevent outflow of oil and oil vapor in an inner chamber by providing a passage having a bottom part on one end on the inner chamber side, and partitioning the side end of the inner chamber of the passage by the bottom part to be communicated with the inner chamber by a communication passage in the transverse direction in a breather having an adapter to regulate the internal pressure in the inner chamber of a casing.
SOLUTION: In an adapter 1, a passage 2 is formed inside, a projected part 4 is formed on a bottom part 6 to cover one end of the passage 2, and a communication passage 8 is formed in a groove 3 formed on its outer circumference. When the pressure in an inner chamber 31 of a case 30 is increased, the pressure gas passing through the communication passage 8 passes through an end passage 20 and reaches a communication hole 12, and passes through a filter 13. When the pressure in the case 30 is negative, the pressure gas flows in the passages 20, 8 in the reverse direction to eliminate the negative pressure in the inner chamber 31. When the case 30 is tilted and the oil in the inner chamber 31 flows out, the oil flows toward the filter 13, but is stopped. The oil vapor generated from the inner chamber 31 is stored in a vapor space 9, and condensation to the filter 13 is prevented.
