To provide a breather capable of preventing flow-out of the contents inside of a container, which is provided with the breather, from a breather opening when acceleration is generated in any direction.
This breather is installed in a container housing a liquid content, and adjusts the inner pressure of the container by opening the inside of the container to atmospheric air when acceleration is generated relative to the container. This breather has a ball 17 to be moved, when acceleration relative to the container is generated, in a direction, in which acceleration is generated in response to the generated acceleration, and a valve part, which comprises a valve 16 to be opened/closed by movement of the ball 17 and which opens the valve 16 when the ball 17 is in a static condition so as open the inside of the container to the atmospheric air and which closes the valve 16 not to open the inside of the container to the atmospheric air when the ball 17 is moved in response to the acceleration.
