Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2012112548
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a brick cooling structure of a shaft furnace which can effectively cool firebrick in a connection part of a furnace cover of a shaft furnace.

The brick cooling structure includes suspended members 13 suspended from the bottom of a jacket and firebrick parts 14 supported by the suspended members 13. The jacket includes a metallic annular duct 10, an inner pipe arranged in the annular duct 10 and injection members 12 respectively suspended from the inner pipe 11. A lower end aperture of each injection member 12 is opened through a window part 10C-1 of the annular duct 10, the suspended member 13 has a space 13B connected to the annular duct 10 at the upper end and having a bottom on the lower end, and the injection member 12 is inserted into the space 13B with an interval from an inner wall surface of the space 13B. An inflow port of a cooling medium is formed on a part of the inner pipe 11 and an outflow port is formed on a part of the annular duct 10, and after injecting the cooling medium flowed into the inner pipe 11 from the injection member 12 into the space 13B of the suspended member 13, the cooling medium flows out from the outflow port through the annular duct 10.
