This bridge circuit 30 is provided with an interface circuit 20 which executes serial data transfer with a host device 10(first device), an interface circuit 90 which executes parallel data transfer with an LCD 100(second device) and a transfer controller 50. At the time of deciding that an address included in a packet is a command address to designate a command register 110(command area) based on address decision information(decode range designation information) received from the host device 10, the transfer controller 50(decode circuit 60) instructs the interface circuit 90 to perform access to the command register 110, and at the time of deciding that the address is a data address to designate an RAM 120(data area), the transfer controller 50 instructs the interface circuit 90 to perform access to the RAM 120.
