Abstract:
To propose a bridge fall prevention device that does not damage a bridge structure and can prevent a bridge girder from falling even when an unexpected seismic force is applied.SOLUTION: A bridge fall prevention device comprises: a bearing plate 3 fixed to the opposite surface of one bridge girder B1 and another bridge girder B1; a bearing block 4 arranged at a position spaced from the bearing plate 3; a pedestal 5 interposed between the bearing plate 3 and the bearing block 4; a first connection part 61 fixed to the bearing block 4; a wire rod 8 laid between the one bridge girder B1 and the other bridge girder B1; a second connection part 62 fixed to one end of the wire rod 8; and a connection member 7 that connects the first connection part 61 and the second connection part 62. The wire rod 8 penetrates through a through hole 31 formed in the bearing plate 3. The second connection part 62 has a width larger than the inner diameter of the through hole 31 and is connected to the first connection part 61 at a position having a clearance with the bearing plate 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
