Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain the Tessar lens whose view angle is such a wide view angle as about 60-65 degrees, and which is bright by an F-number of about 2.8, is small in size and has high performance.

CONSTITUTION: This Tessar lens consists of a first lens L1 which has a meniscus shape whose convex face is turned to an object side and consists of a positive single lens, a second lens L2 which is provided at an interval from a first lens L1 and consists of a negative single lens of a biconcave lens shape, a third lens L3 which is provided at an interval from a second lens L2 and consists of a negative lens, a fourth lens L4 consisting of a positive lens cemented to a third lens L3, and a diaphragm S provided on an image side, in order from the object side, and also, has at least one aspherical surface between the image side face of a second lens L2 and the image side face of a fourth lens L4.
