To provide a circularly polarized wave antenna with omnidirectivity within a horizontal plane that is used for a short wave band and an ultrashort wave band.

The broadband omnidirectional circularly polarized wave antenna is characterized in that a constant resistor matching circuit is provided on respective output terminals of an orthogonal vertical loop antenna and an orthogonal horizontal dipole loop antenna so that each antenna has an output impedance of a pure resistance identical to each antenna, and either of outputs of the loop antenna system and the dipole antenna system is phase-shifted by 90-degrees and the resulting output is put together with the other output, and all the outputs of one of two systems are put together.
