To provide a transmission system for transmitting a broadcast material such as a program and a commercial (CM) by which it is possible to confirm the coincidence between a broadcast material scheduled to be transmitted and a broadcast material broadcasted (on aired) by transmission.

A storage means 7 stores video information of the broadcast material scheduled to be transmitted and identification information of the broadcast material in association with each other. An instruction means 1 instructs the broadcast material to be transmitted. Transmission means 9, 10 transmit the video information of the broadcast material instructed by the instruction means by reading it out from the storage means 7. A determination means 3 determines whether or not the identification information of the broadcast material transmitted from the transmission means is coincident with that of the broadcast material instructed by the instruction means.
