Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcast receiver, a control method thereof, a portable information terminal, and a control method thereof, which enable to deal at a satisfactorily practical level with an incoming call during reproduction of broadcast content.
SOLUTION: When an incoming call occurs during the reproduction of television broadcast, the received television broadcast data are recorded in a video/audio recording unit 20c on the basis of the operation of a talk key 15b. On the basis of the operation of a hold key 15c, the television broadcast data recorded in the recording unit 20c are reproduced, and the received television broadcast data are overwritten on the area in which the reproduced television broadcast data have been recorded.
